St.Columba's is Open for Service's

The Church is open for Sunday Eucharist at 10:30am.

We are now taking the sacrament at he altar.
(Please let us know if you need a gluten free wafer)

Please be guided by the stewards.

Wednesday Eucharists begins at 10am. Services are in the church.

Any names for the Prayer List should be given to the Steward or to the person leading
intercessions. There is a list in the porch of those leading prayers.

The childrens area of the church is now fully restored and there are crayons, books and some toys for the children.

Dear Friends, Sunday services are up and running at our usual time of 10.30am. Please remember and bring your liturgy book if you have received one!!!.

Is there anyone interested in stewarding our services please speak to the Rector. Likewise if you would like to resume reading or leading intercessions please speak to Alison.

Is there anyone who would be interested in being added to the Rotas for reading or being a side person
or even doing intercessions on a Sunday, if so, please let Dean Alison know

 

Donations for flowers can be put in the box on the wall,
Donations for the Foodbank of tins, pasta, etc. can be brought to the church anytime
from now on. Anyone who wishes to help with decorating the church
please speak to Stephen or Josephine.

Church Quiz - new Quiz is available . Last months winner was from
Newton Stewart in Galloway and the amount raised was £200.

Midweek Services will be in the church until further notice.

There will be brief studies for Lent at the midweek service and
the Office of Compline will be kept on Thursdays during lent at 5:30pm.

Bishops Lent Appeal is for a small church which supports a vunerable community
in the slums of Manila in th Phillippines which Bishop Mark visited recently.
Please put your donation in an envelope marked "Bishops Lent Appeal" and put it
in the offering plate.

The Rector is on Diocesan Clergy retreat this week, if there are pastoral
concerns please contact Revd Marion Keston in the first instance.

 

 

We would be delighted to hear from you with suggestions of future fund
raising events. Please talk to Jen, Linda, Wilma or Josephine
on the Social committee.
